Introduction
The Tamil Nadu Small Industries Corporation Limited (TANSI) was incorporated in
1965 as a Company and was registered under the Companies Act, 1956. TANSI started its
production in these units from 1.12.1965. Based on the market requirements, TANSI has
reorganized its activities and its production units. At present, it has 19 Production units all
over Tamil Nadu.
Main Activities
TANSI undertakes manufacture of wooden and steel furniture, fabrication works and
manufacture of hand pumps, spirit based surgical items, paints, civil interior works, etc. It
has earned a name for itself in the manufacture of quality wooden and steel furniture.
TANSI is moving towards excellence in manufacturing systems by implementing
modern technology and management tools. The units and Corporate Office have obtained
ISO 9001:2015 certifications:
